Check your license standing with the Georgia Real Estate Commission = Good Standing

1. Renewal and Continuing Education dates have not lapsed.
2. Inactive or Active status in good standing is ok.

License Status: Free to be added to Elizabeth Street = INACTIVE or RELEASED

GREC Change Form

1. You must not be “active” with another company.  If you are, and wish to transfer your license to us, please have your current broker “release” your license.  This will, technically, put it “inactive”, but you will have 30 days to be added without affecting your standing with the GREC.  This is how “transfers” are done.  Your license is, momentarily inactivated.  There is no “true transfer” from one company to another.  One releases you, the other adds you.  So, you don’t need both brokers to fill out your change form.  You do NOT need the adding brokerage to sign your change form for you current broker to release you.
2. ON-LINE IS FASTER: If releasing your license from another brokerage to be added to Elizabeth Street, ask them to do it “on-line”.  If they do, we can add you minutes later.  If they do it with the paper method, it can take up to 10 days.
3. INACTIVE FOR A WHILE? If you have not been active in over a year, we can add you by the paper method.  Again, it just takes up to 10 days, instead of one.
4. NEWLY LICENSED? If you are studying to be a newly licensed agent, and have never been assigned or activated with a company before (i.e. have no license number), please contact us for a “Sponsoring Broker Statement”.  You can bring this with you to the testing center and be added as soon as you pass your exam.

1. Complete these “Get Started Forms” and either fax or email those to us to start your license activation process.  Fax to 770-889-0029 OR email to hireme@elizabethstreet.net

GREC Change Form requesting add to Elizabeth Street Realty LLC
W-9 Employment Tax ID Form (Pg 1 only)(1099 Employee, Independent Contractor)
Copy of current Georgia Driver’s license or other official government issued photo ID.

YOUR LICENSE IS ACTIVATED: We will process your forms (usually within one business day), activate your license, and send you via email your official welcome package and agent agreement to sign.  If your license was unable to be added, we will notify you.

TIME TO REVIEW EVERYTHING: You will have a 5 day grace period to review the agent manual and agreement.  If may request your license to be released within that 5 day period without any penalties or obligations to Elizabeth Street.
